1) Recognize calibrations in drops (gtts)/mL on IV administration sets.
2) Calculate IV infusion times and flow rates using the two-step formula method.
3) Calculate the amount of time necessary to infuse a medication per direct IV infusion ("IV Push.")
4) Identify safety considerations related to monitoring a client receiving IV therapy.
